7 Day Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Volcanoes with Lake Bunyonyi & Queen Elizabeth Safari.

After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel for a scenic drive to Uganda through the Chanika border. Along the way, enjoy the breathtaking views of Rwanda’s rolling hills before crossing into Uganda. The majestic Virunga volcanoes will add to the excitement as you get closer to your destination. After completing border formalities, continue to your hotel located just 30 kilometers from the border for lunch, relaxation, and an overnight stay.

Enjoy an early breakfast and take your packed lunch before heading to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park headquarters. Here, you'll be briefed by a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger about the gorilla trekking process, including the dos and don’ts while trekking. Then, embark on your trek through the lush forest in search of the majestic mountain gorillas. Once you find them, spend an hour observing these incredible creatures before returning to the lodge for a well-deserved rest.

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for your golden monkey trekking experience. Learn the guidelines for interacting with these fascinating primates before venturing into the forest for your trek. Enjoy an hour-long interaction with the golden monkeys, and then transfer to Lake Mutanda for a relaxing boat ride. Visit Gahiza Island before returning to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Following breakfast, embark on a scenic transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale district, known for being the deepest lake in Uganda. With its 29 islands and diverse birdlife, it’s the perfect place to unwind. After checking into your lodge, enjoy a leisurely boat ride around the lake and marvel at the panoramic views of the Virunga mountains. Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a picturesque drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. As you pass through the scenic Kigezi hills, you’ll have stops to capture the beauty of the area, including the Kitagata hot springs. Continue through lush tea plantations and arrive at the park in the afternoon, where you'll check in at your lodge, relax, and enjoy dinner.

Start your day with an early breakfast and head to Queen Elizabeth’s Kasenyi Plains for an exciting morning game drive. Expect to see a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. After a thrilling 4-5 hour game drive, return to the lodge for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon boat launch on the Kazinga Channel. Watch hippos, crocodiles, and various birds up close as they gather by the shores. After the boat ride, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

On your final day, have an early breakfast before setting off for Kigali. Arrive in time for some last-minute shopping and sightseeing before your departure. This journey promises to leave you with unforgettable memories of Uganda's incredible wildlife and scenic beauty.
