Day 1 :

Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will go through customs and immigration before being warmly welcomed by a Panther Adventures guide. They will then drive you to your booked hotel accommodation for a briefing on the 10-Day Rwanda Primate Wildlife Tour. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 :

Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on a Kigali city tour. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Grounds to learn about Rwanda's history, then drive to Volcanoes NP. Check in to your accommodation and spend the afternoon relaxing in preparation for the next day's trekking.

Day 3 :

Gorilla Trekking at Volcanoes National Park

Early breakfast, then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on the gorilla trek. Spend 2-6 hours trekking through the forest to find the gorillas, then enjoy a one-hour encounter with them. Return to the lodge for lunch, followed by optional cultural encounters at Iby’ Iwacu Cultural Village

Day 4 :

Golden Monkey Trekking and Transfer to Lake Kivu

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for golden monkey trekking. Return to the lodge for lunch before transferring to Lake Kivu for a night fishing experience on the lake.

Day 5 :

Coffee Tour Experience and Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

Visit a coffee plantation in the morning, then transfer to Nyungwe National Park. Enjoy a canopy walk before heading to the hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 6 :

Chimpanzee Tracking & Tea Plantation Experience

Embark on chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe National Park, followed by a tea plantation visit. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 :

Waterfalls Hike & Transfer Back to Kigali

Enjoy a waterfalls hike in Nyungwe National Park before driving back to Kigali. Visit the King's Palace Museum en route.

Day 8 :

Transfer to Akagera National Park

After breakfast, drive to Akagera National Park. Enjoy a boat trip on Lake Ihema in the afternoon.
