2 Day Wildlife and Culture Safari from Kigali to Rwanda and Uganda

Rise early for an exciting journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in southwestern Uganda. Your thrilling gorilla trek will lead you through dense forests, steep hills, and river streams before encountering a family of mountain gorillas. Upon arrival, your guide will walk you through a briefing at the park headquarters, preparing you for the unforgettable experience ahead. You’ll be paired with a ranger guide who will provide insights into the gorilla tracking process. As you journey through the tropical forest, you’ll be enveloped in the fresh, cool breeze of the park. After an exhilarating trek, you'll return to Kigali for a relaxing overnight stay.

Early this morning, we depart Kigali at around 5 am for a scenic 2-hour drive to Akagera National Park, a stunning Savannah landscape. As you venture into the park’s northern section, keep your eyes peeled for iconic wildlife including elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, waterbucks, rhinos, and the elusive leopard. The park is also home to the newly introduced lions, completing the Big Five. Upon arrival at the southern gate, a brief introduction to the park awaits, before you begin your game drive through the park's most wildlife-dense regions. This safari may last up to 6 hours, depending on animal sightings and your interests. Stop for a delightful picnic lunch before continuing your adventure. After a memorable day, you’ll exit the park through the northern gate and head back to Kigali, completing your whirlwind wildlife experience.
